Aislinn Logan sings live, Janice talks to composer Michael Bruce and David Pratt and David Eustace on the World Press Exhibition

Janice Forsyth has a live session from Belfast singer Aislinn Logan, plus she talks to artist and novelist Simon Bill and Donmar Warehouse composer-in-residence Michael Bruce.

We have a live music session from Aislinn Logan - the 22 year old singer from Belfast released her second EP in June. And her single 'Wild' was Janice's Single of the Week at the end of May.

Simon Bill is an artist and first time novelist - Artist in Residence - brings together two very disparate worlds; the endlessly fascinating and strangely implausible world of neuroscientific research and the equally strange, drug-fuelled and novelty-obsessed contemporary art scene.

Michael Bruce is currently composer in residence at the Donmar Warehouse in London, having previously held the same role at the Bush Theatre. He's just back from New York, where he's been working on the Broadway opening of Privacy, starring Daniel Radcliffe, and his credits include recent productions of Coriolanus, Man and Superman, and Tipping the Velvet. As if writing the music wasn't enough, Michael has now written about writing the music - this week, his book "Writing Music For the Stage" - a how-to guide for would-be composers - is published.

The power of the image in news will be discussed by Foreign Editor David Pratt and portrait photographer David Eustace who have been to the World Press Exhibition currently running at the Scottish Parliament.

On the Tuesday Review: Fiona Shepherd, Pasquale Iannone and David Eustace give their verdict on 主播大秀 6 Music's - First Time with Yoko Ono - part of the 主播大秀's landmark My Generation season. It is charting the history of pop music across the decades from the 50's to the 90's through the memories of people who were there. They will also be talking about Roisin Murphy's new album Take Her Up to Monto. And taking a look at the first episode in the third series of Channel 4's Man Down.
