Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of The Wrecking Crew - a group of top studio musicians who were constantly in demand and contributed to hundreds of chart-topping singles for the likes of the Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, Partridge Family, Paul Simon, Barry Maguire, Phil Spector, Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from Jimmy Somerville's new album 'Live & Acoustic at Stella Polaris'. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Memo From Turner' by Mick Jagger from the 1970 film 'Performance' and in Classic Songwriters, there's tracks from the pen of singer/songwriter and musician Jackson Browne.
