Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of The Wrecking Crew - a group of top studio musicians who were constantly in demand and contributed to hundreds of chart-topping singles for the likes of the Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, Partridge Family, Paul Simon, Barry Maguire, Phil Spector, Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra. The Great Collaborations track features Elvis Costello & Glenn Tilbrook and in The Real Thing it's 'Kevin Carter' by Manic Street Preachers - song about the 1994 Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Kevin Carter.
