Live rugby coverage from Scotstoun Stadium as Glasgow Warriors host Irish giants Ulster in round 4 of the Pro12, introduced by Dougie Vipond with Andy Nicol in the studio and commentary by Hugh Dan MacLennan.

Despite being early in the campaign, both teams are desperate to win this clash between sides that, in recent seasons, have vied with one another for the coveted play-off places. A Glasgow v Ulster clash rarely fails to excite and Gregor Townsend's men are determined to regain the Pro12 title they won in 2015. Les Kiss's side have had a frustrating few seasons, coming close to winning the Pro12, but it is now ten years since their one and only triumph in the competition.

This is only the second competitive match to be played on the new artificial pitch at Scotstoun, and Glasgow are hoping the surface suits their open style of play. Indeed, home advantage has been a big factor in this fixture in the past, with only one away victory between the sides in the last five-and-a-half years, when the Scots triumphed 13-12 at Ravenhill in September 2013. The Irish meanwhile, have to look back to March 2011 for their last victory in the west of Scotland.
