Turas iongantach buidheann dh脿na de fhir-smalaidh Ste貌rnabhaigh, agus iad a' tighinn c貌mhla le luchd-sm脿laidh eile gus 5 seann charbadan smalaidh agus carbad 猫iginneach a dhr脿ibheadh tarsaing na Roinn E貌rpa, gu Serbia, far a bheil iad gu bhith air an cleachdadh 脿s 霉r.

The journey of an intrepid group of Stornoway firefighters, as they join forces with other Scottish firemen to take five retired fire engines and an ambulance across Europe to Serbia, where they are given a new lease of life and purpose. A 1,500-mile, three-day non-stop trip, with vehicles not used to long journeys and some that haven't been running for a while. It would prove to be a trip that wasn't without it's challenges! Organsied by the Scottish Emergency Rescue Association, this trip sees the group donating their 50th vehicle since it began the work ten years ago.

There is a massive shortage of fire engines and fire fighting equipment in Eastern Europe, and most of the group have made similar trips to Moldova and Romania - so the Serbia trip is also a renunion for many good friends. The team also spend a week training both firemen and volunteers, and with limited time and language barriers, and much to learn, it's an intensive and challenging few days.
