Join Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith for the latest outdoor activities from Shetland to the Borders, plus the key stories for those who live and work in the countryside.

Mark hears about a Paths For All initiative to assist people with dementia and their families get out and enjoy walking.

Scotland's first ever wildlife book festival will be held in Grantown-on-Spey in a couple of weeks' time. Euan finds out more.

Mark continues his adventures in the Carron Valley as he discovers a local landmark, the Meikle Bin.

Euan is on the Snow Road, a 90 mile stretch of road from Blairgowrie to Grantown on Spey hearing some of the tales that travellers can discover on a new app.

Mark meets the Cairngorms Nature Young Presenter 2018, Aiden Curlewis as he enjoys his wildlife watching holiday on a trip to Insh Marshes.

We've tried out electric cars on Out of Doors before but didn't know that the man behind the very early version was from Aberdeen. Euan visits the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford to find out more.

Dr Julie Brown from Astoria in Oregon is an international expert in coastal and maritime culture. She is currently visiting Dornoch and the Centre of History at the University of the Highlands and Islands. Mark chatted to her about her trip and her research.

Scotland is full of legends and over the past few years we've delved into the stories that help pass the long months of winter. Some are based on fact, others pure mythology. This week Euan investigates the story of The Merry Men of Mey, a tidal race in the Pentland Firth.
