主播大秀 Radio Scotland need people for a new series called Street Feast

Street Feast is presented by The Great British Bake Off's Flora Shedden and the show is looking for people who like to cook.

Are you interested in cooking? Would you like the chance to get to know your neighbours a little bit better?

If you can answer yes to both of these questions then this could be a great opportunity for you.

主播大秀 Radio Scotland is looking for people to take part in a brand new community food programme called Street Feast. Flora Shedden, from the Great British Bake Off, and food innovator Simon Preston will be presenting the show.

Street Feast is going to be a celebration of home-cooking and of community life. Each week the programme will travel to a different area of Scotland and gather a group of neighbours together for a meal. The idea is that one neighbour makes the starter, one makes the main course and one makes the pudding. They all get together at the end to enjoy the meal, have a chat and get to know each other.

People from all across Scotland, of all ages and stages, are needed to take part in the exciting new programme. The good news is you don't need to be a Professional Chef to take part! The show is not looking for Scotland's top cooks - it just wants people who enjoy cooking and who want to get to know their neighbours a little bit better. (....and don't forget, Flora Shedden will be on hand to give everyone a hand in the kitchen!)

How to apply

Does this sound like something you, or someone you know, would be interested in?

If you like cooking, and want to get to know the people living in your building or street a bit better, then Street Feast would love to hear from you.

All you have to do is send them an email to let them know you are interested. The email address is: Street.feast@bbc.co.uk

You can also give them a call on 01463 720 755.

The producer of the show would then give you a call to tell you a bit more and have a chat. If you are suitable for the show, the producer will contact the other people in your street to find two neighbours who would also like to take part. A date would then be agreed with all 3 of you to come and record the programme.
