A senior academic has warned mums who post graphic accounts of the birthing process online are contributing to a rise in phobia of childbirth.
While sharing such descriptions might be therapeutic for the woman who went through the experience, it’s thought mums to be could be traumatised by reading such stories. So are we too quick to tell childbirth horror stories?
