Known as the Folk Oscars, the 2018 MG ALBA Scots Traditional Music Awards, live from Perth. The show features an all-star line up that sees Isobel Anne Martin accompanied by Mr McFall鈥檚 Chamber, M脿nran, Croft No5, Karine Polwart, Catriona Watt, Kinnaris Quintet and Griogair Labhruidh amongst the acts that play live on the night. Following weeks of anticipation and a public vote, the evening will celebrate those who have influenced the traditional music scene. The MG ALBA Scots Traditional Music Awards is a platform for some fantastic musical performances, coupled with the glamour and excitement that comes with an awards ceremony. Hosting the evening are renowned broadcaster and musician Mary Ann Kennedy and, for the first time, musician Kim Carnie, who will be onstage for an evening of drama and fun as they honour the heroes of the traditional music world.
