ERIC
ERIC, The Children鈥檚 Bowel and Bladder Charity, provides practical and emotional support to children and teenagers affected by continence issues (toilet training, bedwetting, daytime wetting, constipation and soiling), their families and the professionals who look after them. We want to create an environment where every child and teenager with a bowel or bladder condition can access support and live free from embarrassment, shame, isolation and fear.
Connor struggled with bedwetting until he was 19
Told by his doctor to wait to grow out of it, Connor had no idea his condition could be treated until he found ERIC while looking for support online. 鈥淚t's nerve-wracking being featured in the media and people finding out. But I suppose it's the only way to start breaking down stigma. I鈥檓 excited and very pleased that by sharing my story I might help other young people.鈥�
What families say about our helpline

ERIC鈥檚 family support days
Parents and carers hear from ERIC鈥檚 helpline advisors about managing and treating continence issues during a workshop. These sessions give families a chance to get peer-to-peer support and reassurance that they aren鈥檛 alone.
