Legendary DJ Gary Crowley is coming to Paisley to do a Q&A about his ‘Lost 80’s’ album and his career in ‘An Evening With Gary Crowley’. There’s a short documentary about him being shown too and it’s at the Bungalow on Thursday. Lucky for us, ahead of all that, he’ll be on hand to tell Nicola Meighan all about it.

Regular Afternoon Show Critics, Ian Hoey and Catrina Rose will review the sparkling new Blu Ray release of the classic film, The African Queen: John Huston’s unforgettable, heartfelt and thrilling romantic adventure starring Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.

And staying with ‘Classic Film’, Hannah McGill previews the upcoming theatrical re-release of Stanley Kubrick’s final masterpiece, Eyes Wide Shut - a bracing psycho-sexual journey, a riveting suspense tale and a career milestone for stars Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

We’ll also hear from the director of Scotch: The Golden Dram, a documentary that tells the story of the whisky industry through its most famous distillers, and look back at the life and works of the great Georges Simenon, As Penguin’s mammoth publishing project – a remarkable series of Maigret reissues - draws to a close, we’ll hear all about the great man from his son John Simenon.
