Episode 2

Wannabe dealer Alfie, aged just 11, tries to sell his scooter to the dealers. Plus will they want to buy an unusual birthing chair or a pair of vintage phones.

Nigel Havers welcomes three sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.

First in today is Justin, from the Lake District, with a highly decorative chair that is thought to be from West Africa and has an unusual use. He knows what that use is, but he鈥檚 determined to keep the dealers guessing, as he鈥檚 convinced that when they work out what it is, they will want to pay good money for it. Next is Teneille from Manchester, with a family heirloom. After languishing in a cupboard for two decades, the two vintage telephones, which are thought to date from the late 19th or early 20th century, were found by Teneille's mum. They would both have been party to some very interesting conversations, but will Teneille be able to talk them up enough to secure the price she wants from the dealers? Last up is the show鈥檚 youngest seller, 11-year-old Alfie, with his dad Paul. Alfie wants to be a dealer himself when he grows up and has already started buying bargain pieces that he hopes to sell on for a profit. The first is a vintage scooter. Simon confirms it鈥檚 a unique, hand-made item, so Alfie sells hard on that when he enters the bidding room. Playing on the cuteness factor, Alfie soon has the dealers dancing to his tune. Will he ride off with a tidy profit?

Today's dealers are Adi, Ian, James, Jane and Tash.
