Episode 3

Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers bid against each other to buy items brought in by the public. Today, a pommel horse, a French wedding globe and a vintage arcade game.

Nigel Havers welcomes three more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.

Pam has brought in a vintage pommel horse, typical of ones that used to be a feature of all school gyms. Dealer James shows off his gymnastic prowess - and almost comes a cropper. So will Pam be heading off with the price she wants?

Next is Lorraine, with an item she believes will set the dealers’ hearts aflutter. At first the panel are stumped by this mysterious piece, but Lorraine reveals that it is a mid-20th century French wedding globe, used to display key items from the bride’s special day. Lorraine vows to drive a hard bargain, but will her expectations marry up with those of the dealers when it comes to agreeing a price?

The last seller is Gary, who is hoping to appeal to the dealers’ playful side with his vintage table hockey game. Dealer Tash turns out to be a natural on the table, but does she love it enough to place a high enough bid?
