The defending champion is the Netherlands’ Anna van der Breggen. The 31-year-old also won the event in 2018 and will be looking to bow out in style, having announced she will retire at the end of the year. The British team includes Lizzie Deignan, who outsprinted Van der Breggen to win road race gold in 2015.

Jill Douglas introduces the action, with commentary from Simon Brotherton and Chris Boardman.
