Live coverage of the women’s road race at the UCI Road World Championships in Belgium, where the globe’s biggest stars will battle it out to claim the coveted rainbow jersey.

The defending champion is the Netherlands’ Anna van der Breggen. The 31-year-old also won the event in 2018 and will be looking to bow out in style in what will be her final race at a major championship, having announced she will retire at the end of the year. The British team includes Lizzie Deignan, who outsprinted Van der Breggen to win road race gold in 2015.
