A trip to the Steam Rally at Shane’s Castle and looking ahead to the NW 200

Meeting characters and viewing steam trains, vintage cars and much more at Shane’s Castle. Liam Beckett helps us look ahead to the NW 200.

Helen Mark and Willie Hill head to the 23rd edition of the Steam Rally at Shane’s Castle. The dynamic duo get a real feel for the passion people have not just for steam trains – but vintage cars, farm machinery and much more. They chat with some real characters involved with the event and whom are simply enjoying the remarkable exhibitions. Meanwhile, Jonny Crawford catches up with Liam Beckett to look forward to the NW 200 and reflect on not what just they love about road racing – but what needs to change.

As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
