'My teacher used to ask his pupils to bite an apple!'
Joe says his teacher, who had no teeth, used to ask his pupils to bite it first, to start the apple for him.
"I had a teacher when I was at school," says Joe in Loughinisland, "and he had no teeth."
"Really?" Sean says. "It sounds like it should be against the law!"
"He used to bring an apple into the class. Now this is a true story! And he would ask one of the children to take a bite out of it - to start the apple!"
"That schoolteacher could suck an apple!" Sean says. "Imagine waiting on his stump!"
