Musical notes from Belfastā€™s Tattoo, Donaghadeeā€™s famous lifeboat, and might a ā€˜Scots Writer of the Yearā€™ be an Ulsterman?

Belfastā€™s Tattoo, a refurbished lifeboat, and could a local writer win a Scottish award?

Rab Lennox is like a child in a sweet shop at the Belfast International Tattoo ā€“ heā€™s surrounded by musicians of all sorts from different countries and is clearly delighted to hear theyā€™re all enjoying the event just as much as he is!
Helen Mark visits the Sir Samuel Kelly exhibit in Donaghadee and hears how the refurbishment has reached the stage where the public can now get up close to the famous old lifeboat.
Ulster-Scots writer Alan Millar tells the team about his nomination as Scots Writer of the Year in the Scots Language Awards, and shares a short, autumnal poem based on some of his ā€œbonnie holiday mindinsā€.
Willie Hill completes this weekā€™s Kintra team and as always, they love to hear from listeners! To get in touch to share an Ulster-Scots yarn, promote an event or just send a message to the team, send an email to kintra@bbc.co.uk.
