Ideas for learning more about Ulster-Scots culture and heritage – and a photographic competition.

With the new school term underway, we’ve ideas for everyone to learn more about Ulster-Scots heritage and culture, and news of a photographic competition.

Primary school teacher Michelle Mullan and David Gilliland of the Ulster-Scots Community Network join Helen, Rab and Jonnie with lots of ideas for learning more about Ulster-Scots culture and heritage. They have news of courses to get involved with and groups who’d welcome anyone interested in finding out more about music.
Willie chats with Scot Suzanne Alexander who’s made Northern Ireland her home, and Helen has a yarn with Zoe Fusco about a photographic competition that’s open to entries with an Ulster-Scots theme.
As always, the team loves to hear from listeners with an Ulster-Scots yarn to share or event to promote – or who’d just like to say hello! You can reach them by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
