A year long undercover investigation by 主播大秀 News Arabic has uncovered allegations of widespread sexual abuse and coercion by spiritual healers. In the first research of its kind into the issue, more than 60 healers in Morocco and Sudan were accused of rape, sexual assault, and coercing women into sex. The practice is unregulated which leaves women who visit healers open to exploitation. The 主播大秀 spoke to more than 80 women who claimed they had been sexually assaulted or coerced into sex by healers, in order to cure them.
