"Why is it," The Citizen asks Sean, "that you support Aston Villa?"

"It was always there," Sean says. "My father and brother supported them. And then when I did go to help build Birmingham, I went to Villa Park. Villa was always in our house. No other team but the Villa!"

"The reason many people in Derry supported Aston Villa," says Patrick in Derry, "is because there were lots of Irish internationals who played for them! People like Peter McParland!"

"Villa was in our house before Peter McParland came along," Sean says. "But not doubting what you say!"

"I used to support Tranmere Rovers," Patrick says, "because Jobby Crossan's brother played for them!"

Sean remembers Eddie Crossan, Jobby's brother, but he thinks he played for Blackburn.

James the taxi man rings with more details: "Eddie Crossan did play for Tranmere Rovers from 1957 to 1958. He scored six goals. He also played for Blackburn Rovers."

"Sean!" says George in Belfast. "Would you stop talking about football! This is a music show!"

"But George in Belfast!" Sean says. "Sure I'm talking about you now!"
