CMAT is an alternative country artist from Dublin. Her 2022 debut album entered the Irish Albums Chart at number one, and last year she released her second album 'Crazymad, for Me' to critical acclaim.

CMAT's picks for Cerys include classic Marcos Valle, a live cut by Leonard Cohen, and one of her favourite songs by John Grant - who joined her on stage during her performance at the 6 Music Festival 2024.

Also on the show, Cerys digs into the archives and shares Janelle Monae's words on Lauryn Hill, plus Mr Scruff and Nancy Wilson talking about the influence of Miles Davis.
