Shaima Khalil has been speaking to young Iraqi Kurds in the city of Sulaimaniya about their hopes and fears - for their country and themselves.

As the Islamic State advances, many Iraqi Kurds are asking fundamental questions. What might their future be in a united Iraq? Can they create an independent Kurdistan? Can the Islamic State be defeated and how? Shaimaa Khalil makes her way to the city of Sulaimaniya to meet a group of young Kurds to discuss their future prospects.
