Get Creative Building confidence through brush strokes
Get Creative champion Support to Recovery ran a painting group at The Packhorse Gallery, in Huddersfield, with the aim of building confidence, learning basic skills and techniques as well as understanding and exploring different art styles from Vincent Van Gogh to Frida Kahlo. The Packhorse Gallery is a creative arts project run by Support to Recovery which offers the opportunity for local artist and community groups to exhibit their work and runs a variety of creative courses, workshops and artist in residence programmes for adults. It also provides a creative destination to encourage open conversations about mental health and reducing the surrounding stigma.
