Bookmaker Paddy Power will continue to take bets on big current affairs events, despite the controversy surrounding some of its adverts, the director of communications for Paddy Power has told 主播大秀 ExtraTime.

One of the bookmaker's adverts became the most complained-about UK campaign ever when it offered 鈥渕oney back鈥� on bets if the South African athlete Oscar Pistorius was found not guilty of murder.

"This was the one topic of conversation around the world," said Mr Power, "we were betting on what people were speculating on at every water cooler, everywhere in the world."

The company has previously denied the advert trivialised domestic violence towards women.
