The Grimaldi Band are an acoustic trio from Worcestershire and Warwickshire who are writing and performing songs that fuse together aspects of blues, folk, southern rock and pop.

They say it's a unique blend of vocal harmonies, tight melodic guitars and flute.

Grimaldi was the first modern-day clown, moving away from jesters a couple of hundred years ago and performed on stage in London.

"Great energy, great harmonies, great musicianship glued together with rock solid melodies" - Andrew Marston.

Radio 1's Big Weekend: Ellie Goulding

Radio 1's Big Weekend: Ellie Goulding
What an incredible career it's been for Ellie Goulding - and to think it all began here in Kington!

Back then she was performing at the open mic nights at Doodies on St Owen's Street in Hereford, which is no longer there, and having some of those early CDs played on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester.

Fast forward a decade - and she's now a household name across the globe, with many of her lesser heard singles in Britain flying high in the US Billboard charts.

Last weekend the 主播大秀 welcomed her back - putting her on stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Exeter.

He then went on to support last year's 主播大秀 Music Sound Of winner Sam Smith.
