The lineup has been announced for the 主播大秀 Introducing stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival and it features a Leominster musician.
听
AKA George first sent his music into 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester five years ago and since then has had regular airplay on the station, as well as national opportunities with Radio 1 and Radio 2.
听
George writes and produces all of his own material, playing most of the instruments himself - and his videos on YouTube are of epic proportion.
听

Mott The Hoople convention

Mott The Hoople convention
A 12 hour celebration of the 1970's rock band Mott The Hoople is taking place today, with performances by members of the group and conversations with the original road crew.
听
The convention will culminate in a performance by tribute band Wott The Hoople and will showcase various local musicians.
听
Set in The Richmond Club, the event is in aid of the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Dale Griffin (Buffin) - the original drummer who died earlier this year.

The event, which is now in its 29th year, is such a success - there are now Hay Festivals taking place all over the world.

This year, other musicians included KT Tunstall, Suzanne Vega and Sir Tom Jones.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
