Leicestershire's "Failing Schools", EU Referendum Registration & Harry Potter's Theatre Appearance

Stop standing on the sidelines and pointing the finger...and roll up your sleeves." That's the challenge being laid down to authorities overseeing our children's education this morning, by a Leicester head teacher. It's after the education watchdog OFSTED labelled the city the WORST in the country when it comes to the level of performance of children by the time they reach 5.

The EU Referendum draws ever closer, but this morning we look at how engaged the public are in the vote. But we also look at the how the government is blaming "unprecedented demand" for technical problems on the official voter registration website. This all occurred in the run-up to last night's deadline to register to take part in the EU referendum.

Theatregoers in London have given a standing ovation to the first public performance of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child". Co-written by J-K Rowling, it's the first Harry Potter story to start life as a play, rather than a book. We hear from the muggles who managed to get a ticket!
