New wave hip hop artists 131 Northside are making waves on Scotland鈥檚 urban music scene. Loop filmed the duo at the National Gallery of Scotland, where they talked about their attitudes towards their hometown and their aspirations for their career in the music industry. Filmmaking turned Garry Fraser's life after a troubled early life, and now the BAFTA Award winner is working alongside director Danny Boyle on the sequel to Trainspotting, which is currently filming around Scotland. Loop spoke to Garry about his filmmaking philosophy. The shortlist for the Scottish Album of the Year Award was announced this month. Leo Condie, frontman of one of Scotland's hippest bands, White, presents a guide to the artists in contention for the prestigious award. And Loop speaks to comic book creators Clare Forrest and Fiona Gordon about their new book of women who have changed the course of science, and about their attempt to create the world鈥檚 biggest science comic.
