Episode 4

Travis frontman Fran Healy shows us around Possilpark where he grew up, and which inspired the track All of the Places, which is on the band's latest album.

Travis frontman Fran Healy took time out ahead of an appearance at T in the Park this month to show Loop around Possilpark, the area of Glasgow where he grew up, and which inspired the track All of the Places, which is on the band's latest album. Work by some of the world’s top photographers is currently on show in Edinburgh at Retina – the Scottish International Photography Exhibition. Kareem Black, Dougie Wallace, Jason Bell and Alma Haser all gave Loop some tips for taking the perfect photograph. Musicians from Portishead, Lau, Mogwai and The Unthanks have joined forces with BAFTA winning animators whiterobot to create a production for the Edinburgh International Festival next month, inspired by the very contemporary subject of migration. Loop was given access to a sneak preview of rehearsals. And we drop in to a mentoring session at Fashion Foundry in Glasgow’s Merchant City, where five young fashion designers are given invaluable business advice by two of Top Shop’s leading executives.
