Last Sunday, Radio 2's Jamie Cullum hosted the 主播大秀 Introducing and PRS for Music Foundation showcase at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
听
The international event featured three excellent acts, discovered by local 主播大秀 Introducing shows, including our very own Remi Harris - who's originally from Bromyard and now living in Tenbury Wells.
Glastonbury: Quantic All Stars (Bewdley)
William Holland is a musician, DJ and record producer from Bewdley who's spent听the last seven years in Colombia learning to play guitars, bass, double bass, piano, organ, saxophone, accordion and percussion.
听
He听now runs his own record label in New York on which he releases heavy soul and funk.
听
He has also remixed听over 30 songs.
Hagfest near Kidderminster
This was a brand new festival in the 2015 musical calendar, raising money for a local community centre.
听
The event, last weekend, featured top local bands and performers sourced by Base Studios in Stourbridge and included an eclectic mix of music styles from rock & pop to folk & ska.
听
There were added attractions such as a laser tag tent, bouncy castle, bungee run, face painting, craft tent, music lessons and local stalls.
Glastonbury: Years and Years
They topped the 主播大秀 Music Sound of 2015 list and now Years & Years have just played their second Glastonbury Festival.
听
Lead singer Olly Alexander studied Performing Arts at Hereford College Of Arts and became the band's lead singer after meeting at a house party and was overheard singing in the shower!
听
He then went on to support last year's 主播大秀 Music Sound Of winner Sam Smith.

Glastonbury: Ellie Goulding (Lyonshall near Kington)
What an incredible career it's been for Ellie Goulding - and to think it all began here in Kington!
Back then she was performing at the open mic nights at Doodies on St Owen's Street in Hereford, which is no longer there, and having some of those early CDs played on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester.
Fast forward a decade - and she's now a household name across the globe, with many of her lesser heard singles in Britain flying high in the US Billboard charts.
Tonight - we bring you a couple of tracks from the global phenomenon as she plays Glastonbury.
The Bromsgrove Festival
听
The event, which began in 1960 as a classical and jazz showcase, was nationally听renowned听for more than two decades.
听
They eventually started hosting the International Young Musicians concert and nearly went bust a couple of years back as audiences dwindled.
听
But a new team of volunteers got together in 2014 taking the programme of less than 10 events, widening to scope to incorporate more than 70.
听
This year, they're hoping to increase last year's 8,500 attendees to more than 10,000 by expanding the festival to Tardebigge, Rubery, Alvechurch, Barnt Green and Hagley.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our area.

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they听.
