Sam Robinson grew up in Kidderminster and eventually moved to Cyprus where he did an extensive amount of busking before travelling to the east of England.

Having spent most of his life in bands, he's now back in Worcestershire pursuing the life of a singer/songwriter.

Back in 2014, Sam uploaded some of his original compositions to us; we loved them so much, we passed them on to Mark Forrest who played them on the Best of 主播大秀 Introducing across every Local Radio station in Britain.

"Beautiful melodic tracks from an artist who鈥檚 gaining a lot of national attention" - Andrew Marston.

American Nightmare

American Nightmare

Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America and already thousands of protestors have been taking part in global marches against his leadership.

One local musician has expressed his anger through song.

Tyler Massey moved from West Viriginia to West Malvern and has written a track called American Nightmare - a dig at the American 'dream'.

Sound On Sound

Sound On Sound

What's the best way to record a band?

Last month, we started a brand new series with Paul White - the editor-in-chief of the recording magazine Sound On Sound, which Paul edits from his home in Malvern.

Since the 80s, his publication has been packed full of advice and reviews - covering everything from equipment, microphone placement, software and the best amps on the market.

This week, we look at the complexities of recording a drum kit.

主播大秀 Introducing in Hereford

主播大秀 Introducing in Hereford
This month's sessions were recorded at a venue which has picked up a top award after being selected as the third best pub in Britain for live music.

The owners of the Booth Hall, in High Town, have spent their two-and-a-half-thousand-pound prize money on television cameras as they become the first establishment in the UK to stream what's happening on stage.

However, this time last year, the doors were shut after fire ripped through adjoining properties, cutting it off from the pedestrianised part of the city.

The building also suffered extensive water damage as fire crews hosed the walls to prevent the 14th century pub from collapsing.

The Day The Music Died

The Day The Music Died

A musician from Redditch has paid tribute to Buddy Holly's guitarist, whose funeral took place in Nashville this week.

Tommy Allsup missed being on the plane which killed Buddy Holly because he lost out on a coin toss.

David Slater wrote a tribute song to Allsup when they worked together on the island of Crete.

主播大秀 Introducing in Evesham

主播大秀 Introducing in Evesham
主播大秀 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our area.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 29 January where we'll be rolling up to the Evesham Arts Centre to record several acts who we've been playing on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they听uploaded to us.

So if you'd like to Be Part Of It, then simply turn up any time from 2pm - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
