The making of one of London's iconic summer buildings

The Serpentine Pavilion is one of the most visited architectural exhibitions in the world. It is a temporary structure designed and crafted by a different architect every year. In 2017 the commission was won by Burkina Faso born Francis Kéré. His design is inspired by a tree. It is held together by 12,200 bolts and contains 21,000kg of steel.
