Organised by the team behind the Pro-ject Warehouse and It's Just A Disco nights, thousands of people attended the open-air day party in Cathedral Square.

Jay Newman, from Worcester, came up with the idea. He's spent the last two years running the Ibiza Rock Bar in San Antonio.

This week we're hearing from BoyzLife, which features Brian McFadden of Westlife and Keith Duffy of Boyzone. Together, they've hadÌý46 tracks in the UK Top 40!

In recent times McFadden has been a regular on television, appearing in Dancing On Ice and The Jump - Channel 4's Ski Jump spectacular. He's also had a number one single of his own with 'Real To Me'.

Keith Duffy was initially unsuccessful auditioning for Boyzone but was spotted dancing in a nightclub by the band's manager Louis Walsh and was invited to join the group! He went on to have wild success with the band before going into the acting world playing a variety of roles.

Developing her sound in bedroom studios, Aymee's sound ranges from acoustic guitar to distorted synths, catching the attention of many.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1's Matt Edmondson said: "I absolutely love 'Weight'. I remember feeling exactly the same when I heard Ellie Goulding for the first time, just before she took off and conquered the world, and I predict similarly big things for Aymee."

But it all began for Aymee aged five, performing in school and county talent shows, later going on to perform at the Droitwich Salt Festival and the Worcester Music Festival.

She says: "Growing up in Worcestershire gave me so many opportunities to perform in some amazing venues including the Chateau Impney and the Artrix Theatre, and it gave me the confidence and drive I needed to pursue my passion."

KEMPfest Highlights: Fuzzbox

The event, which featured headliners Sweet Female Attitude, Max George of The Wanted and Fuzzbox, was raising money for the Kemp Hospice.

This week, we're hear from Fuzzbox, who had four Top 40 singles during the '80s, talking about the road to success.

Songs like 'Pink Sunshine', 'Love is the Slug' and 'International Rescue' put the band on the map.

The group, who have reformed in various guises and solo projects, have really exploded back into life on the festival scene this year, and performed at this year's Birmingham Music Awards.

The organisers describe it as "two days of outstanding sounds and amazing music".Ìý
Malvern Winter Gardens
Ìý
From the early '60s, for a period of around 30 years, Malvern Winter Gardens rocked to the sounds of bands such The Jam, The Kinks, The Who, Pink Floyd, Motorhead, Hawkwind and many more, some of whom were in their infancy at the time.

Local charity Rock Around the Hills created an interactive exhibition, thanks to a £60,000 grant, celebrating the story of rock, punk and progressive rock at the Winter Gardens from 1961 to 1990.

The display features more than 400 posters, tickets, flyers and fanzines, as well as recorded memories from audience members, musicians and promoters who were all part of the scene.

Having already been at Malvern Library and the Hive in Worcester, the exhibition has now moved to the airwaves - and we're broadcasting some of those memories every Sunday, from 6pm, here on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Hereford & Worcester.
Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

Annie's Burger Shack is one of the newest live music venues in the city, having already hosted 30 awesome gigs since it opened earlier this year.

The Worcester Music Festival was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who produces Worcestershire Sauce.
Ìý
He set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.
Ìý
Taking place in multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from from some of the best, new and emerging artists in the UK.
