主播大秀

Megan Phelps-Roper grew up in the notorious Westboro Baptist Church, founded by her Grandfather. This church, the subject of 2 主播大秀 2 Louis Theroux documentaries, put great faith in literal interpretation of the Bible (their own interpretation) and is horrifyingly homophobic. They picketed schools, and even funerals in their attempts to express their views as well as appearing widely on tv and radio.

Megan Phelps-Roper has left the church (and is estranged from her family). This is her memoir of growing up in such a poisonous environment, how she left the church, and her work online campaigning for tolerance.
