Conservation Dogs – Countryside met up with Dr Caroline Finley, owner and conservation handler with Conservation Detection Dogs in Newtownards. She is training Jasper, a Springer Spaniel, to detect bats. Dogs are now becoming a useful tool in Conservation work including being trained how to sniff out red squirrel, curlew and different species of moss.
