Ukranian Pro Nadiya joined the Strictly family in 2017, leaving a lasting impression with the Judges and public alike after making it all the way to the Quarter Final with EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami.
In 2018 she took to the dance floor with singer Lee Ryan (who's also one of Albert Square's famous alumni), but only made it to Week Three of the competition.
Bouncing back in 2019, Nadiya and her celeb partner ex-England goalie David James made it two more weeks to Week Five. In 2020 she took a break from partnering, but returned to the dance floor with Dan Walker in 2021, making it all the way to Week Eleven and coming fifth.
In 2022 she made it to Week Four with singer, Matt Goss, but they were the third couple to be eliminated.
Background
Nadiya is a two-time World Champion and European Champion in Ballroom and Latin ‘10’ Dance, and has also taken part in the Bosnian version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Not to mention she's a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion, and is a familiar face to many of the Strictly Pros, having trained at the same Slovenian dance school as former Pro Alja啪 Skorjanec.
