js manchester One of the most overrated songs ever. Don't worry Noel Chen - even if you're english the lyrics don't make any sense. (who is this sally person who has no relation to the rest of the song by the way?). Nice tune, but if you're looking for a great Oasis song you've got to listen to "Rock n Roll Star".

adam jobling Whats that?? Oo, maybe its John and George Spinning in their graves! Never, Noal is a talent on his own, drowned out by the placid re-hashed beatles overtones. Not to mention the "Rock and Roll" of his helping tambourine rattling brother. And where are Blur??? :)
mike herts ok , use stuff from imagine, ziggy stardust and a few beatles chord and you have a cracker of a song. Its the song of the decade if not the past 20 years.

It used to play on the radio in Cape Town, South Africa where I was in early 1996 after graduating from Sixth form and feeling a little lost about what was next for me. To me it represented moving on to a school life I was so used to. One of my favorite Oasis songs after"Where did it all go wrong?" and most of the 'Masterplan' songs.
Nigel Hunt, Norwich Best song of the nineties, (inspired a
pale insipid imitation in "strong" by "robbie"
which was vastly overated like "angels",
but i suppose it gives people who can"t
write songs hope i suppose!).Noel is a
true songwriter, who quite rightly says he
is inspired by other songs, which is how it is, Look back" is a true great, with catchy verse and hook with words that fit the the music
perfectly, a song that takes your attention and makes you turn it up when you hear it on the radio.
