We can Reuse tin cans but first we have to clean them.
Recharge batteries to save the world.
Reuse paper by using the other side.

I can remember how my mother would very carefully scrape every trace of butter or margarine off the grease proof paper (to put on our bread) and then save all the papers. When she baked a cake the papers were used to line the baking tin. And the cakes were "Dripping Cakes" made with the dripping from our minute Sunday roast.. They were smashing. The thing is - do you know what "dripping" is ? We didn't so much re-cycle to save the planet, but to stay alive (this was WW2).

How lovely. You know I've been thinking about the importance of re-using and recycling in island communities. It costs alot of money to take waste away to landfill and there are alot of fossil fuels used for the transportation. Every thing you do to help is very important. Keep up the good work.
