On air at 1700&1800GMT: Gbagbo in 'a bunker'

| Tuesday, 4 April 2011 | 18:00 - 20:00 GMT

Whatever I write in this post about Ivory Coast is likely to be out of date within minutes. So I'm better off directing you to the Live Page for the latest. What is certain is that Laurent Gbagbo is coming under unrelenting pressure.
On today's late edition we'll attempt to speak to the following people in Abidjan:

- Ivorians and French people who live in the city

- Reporters from the 主播大秀 and other media organisations (you read the 主播大秀's Andrew Harding's latest blog post here.)

- Spokespeople for the UN and aid agencies in Abidjan

- Spokesmen for Laurent Gbagbo and Alassane Ouattara

- A French-speaking 主播大秀 journalist who can guide us through the tweets coming out of Abidjan.

- We'll also pull together what testimony there is relating the deaths of hundreds of people in Duekoue last week.

If you're in Ivory Coast or have friends and relatives who are there and would like to take part, please do get in touch.

@主播大秀_WHYS Granting amnesty to Gbagbo and his generals will be shameful. The UN needs to be reformed to be more decisive. #Ivory Coast

Listening i鈥檓 more & more amazed this is africa & arabia, countries whose conception of democracy doesn鈥檛 come from middle england or partyamerica. Its used to make money see bgagbo/gheddafi/yemen. Old men who will only give up power when they,re dead or their children take over. Voting is to confirm thesystem. Simon Florence Italy

Gbagbo was offered more than enough chances to step aside peacefully. He should be arrested and charged for the carnage his refusal to accept defeat hascaused. machora onkuru
