Tweet: preaching to the chorus Ìý What happened?: Some things are compulsory for festivals – and a gospel choir doing covers seems to be one of them.Ìý It’s safe, entertains without threatening us, and may be doing us some good spiritually (not guaranteed).Ìý Indeed, anyone who was on the campsite last night is probably morally saved for the next year or so as they performed a more traditional gospel set by the standing stone.Ìý Taking their cue from the more soulful end of popular music, we’ve got ‘Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This’, ‘You’ve Got The Love’ and ‘Moving On Up’. Ìý Shining Light: I may be a sucker for the Scream, but ‘Moving On Up’ is always a winner. Ìý Meltdown: This is all very bland, good songs, but nothing startling original in terms of interpretation or choice, and they could probably do with larger numbers and stronger soloists to do some of the songs justice.Ìý It’s a notch above a covers band. Ìý Rating: 6/10 Ìý
