Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Ulster today announced a concert in Belfast celebrating 150 years of the venue. The concert, entitled 'The Great Northern Songbook' will take place on May 22nd and will feature diverse acts such as , , and newcomer .

The acts will perform a track of their own withthen a further song chosen by a vote which is set to run on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Ulster homepage from noon tomorrow (March 16th). The initial shortlist of songs, all written by people from the north of Ireland, was drawn up by Ö÷²¥´óÐã RU Presenters including ATL's Rigsy.
The concert, hosted by Ralph McLean and Lynette Fay will be broadcast live on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Ulster.
