Well, all my doubts about going to the circus were instantly dissolved.This was nothing like the Kelvin Hall.Smiffy was right, I was enthalled.

I think this show is still on for a couple of days so anyone trying to amuse themselves this weekend should definately try and pick up a ticket for Cirque du Soliel - Allegria at the SECC.

Absolutely breathtaking!

And yet. what struck me was that at it's core, the things they did were traditional things you might expect to see in the circus - they just do them to an amazing standard. Truly awesome - and something I never previously understood or 'got' or found funny is clowns and mime - but again, this was an exhibition in how to do it properly and it was clever and hilarious - I was completely entranced.

5 stars, highly recommended.

Having felt the need to play this more times than I care to admit on a drive from London to Glasgow the other week - 'Me and My Arrow' - Harry Nillson. You just have to sing along, a happy feeling!

In no order of preference but all pre mp3, CD, shuffle repaet or whatever. Hope to hear on the radio or play over and over again. Restricted to four so:

Nah. The Four Tops is Paolo's area of expertise. I'm requesting one for Monday, (see#2), so seven on Wednesday maintains my average.

Not sure about Tuesday, but Thursday I'm more sinned against than sinning, and Friday is basically "Pick Your Favourite Bryan Ferry Track".

One single I definitely played with the arm over so it played and played and played...
