Our wedding song - we want your ideas

Post categories:

Carrie | 18:04 UK time, Wednesday, 13 February 2008

I've been very naughty and didn't blog at work so I'm currently dictating it to Hoop Dogg whilst on the bus.

As we've noticed our comments systen hasn't been working properly - but we still want more interaction with you!

I need some suggestions for a first dance at the wedding. I'm currently having rows and bother with Major Tom over it.

Please make them slightly more appropriate than Chris' efforts, that mainly alluded to things that may happen on the wedding night!

I'm currently off to have a makeover to decide on my wedding day face. I'm hoping I won't end up too orange or looking like a drag queen.

Carrie

As a first dance, tiny dancer by elton john is a really nice song.It is quite long but that gives other guests a chance to join in with you guys on the dancefloor. I agree on a comment made by jordan (comment 25), my dad played the song I loved her first by heartland during his speech at my sisters wedding. It pretty much sums up all the things that a father could say about his daughter to his future son in law. If you were to have a father daughter dance this should be the one. Just listen to the lyrics..they are beautiful. Good luck with the wedding plans.xx

You should have a song that means something to you. When I got married, we had 'Unchained Melody' by The Righteous Brothers because our first date was to see Ghost at the cinema (Tacky song though!)
