Well, after reading these, I'm just glad it wasn't Billy! I also wonder how Dot would have reacted if Ian had been revealed as the killer. I don't really understand what Billy or Max's motives would have been though.

For me, the choice to make Stacey the murderer was a poor one. Such decisions surely have to take so many elements into consideration. How the audience will react, whether it is plausible to go with that character, and for me, Eastenders still have the opportunity of changing this choice, and I believe that they should. Darren should not be the father of Heather's baby, not plausible, and Stacey needs to be freed from the weight of believing she is the murderer - somehow - it can be done. I hope if enough of your audience agree you will work out an alternative choice in the months to come! Please! You got this wrong.

Anyway I knew it was Stacey as every time when something good happens in somebodys life (just like Stacey's as she got married ot Bradley)EE just ruins their lives by givng the audience a shock (Also this happened to Darren when he was the father of George - he was going to get married to Libby but something had to ruin it - Baby George).
I knew it wasn't going to be any of the other suspects as they had nothing to loose even though Bradley had something to loose - Stacey, he was too obvious, so it couldn't be him.
Anyway I hope Stacey doesn't leave EE due to her going to prison or leaving the Square. She better come back as she now has ran away.
It would be good if she came back with giving birth to her unborn child. Also it be good if she came back with her cousin Kat Moon.
I hope Becca dies, why did she tell the police of Bradley. Its all her fault Bradley had to die. When Stacey finds out I hope she kills her.
And oh yeah Becca is going ot seduce Max. I hope Max doesn't sleep with her. I hope Tanya comes back and reunites with her and slaps Becca hard when he finds out what she did.

I didnt think it was going to be stacey at all. she doesnt really look to be strong enough to pick up the queen vic bust. She wont be able to live with herself after what happened to poor Bradley. She has to clear his name!!!!!!

I'm glad these have been released. Its nice to know the other possible endings of who would have confessed to whom. I wouldn't have expected anything less from Ronnie & Jack. They only trust one another out of everyone, and it seems believable they'd confess to each other. I would love to see clips of these, as they were recorded, just incase. It would be nice to see just how it would have looked visually.
I dont' see how Billy or Max could have ever been a suspect really. Its not something i'd believe given that practically everyone else had a motive. I would have loved a shock though and have Roxy being a potential suspect...cos i really wasn't expecting it to be Stacey at all. Amazing show from both an amaznig cast & crew. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

I absolutaly loved the live episode on Friday,i thougt it was amazing. I still cant not believe it was Stacey that killed Archie, so shocked when i saw that, stacey doesnt seem the kind to do that.
When bradley died i was so upset he is going to be well missed on Eastenders it will be wierd him not being on the square.Well done eastenders th sow is amazing and i can not wait for further episodes.

Max's motive is that Archie left him bankrupt remember that whole dodgy deal he tried to pull. I guess if only reason i can think of as to why Billy could have killed Archie is perhaps he was trying to help the Mitchell's finally trying to show he has a backbone but even that doesnt make sense as Archie has always treated Billy well.

Who cares? Who honestly cares? I can't believe this trash is still on TV after all these years and I can't believe people think it is good TV! What a world we live in when the most important things in people's lives are Deadenders,Big Brother and the latest rubbish about Katie Price!

Well, Rob, it's all relative isn't it? You think EastEnders is trash. But then, you might like to watch sport, which I find hideously boring. You might like Gordon Ramsey, or Heartbeat, or The Antiques Roadshow. None of which interest me. We really can't all like the same things.

I have been watching EE since day one and am a big fan and I make no apologies for it.

Glad these have been posted, i really thought it was going to be Jack! When it was told to be Stacey, i couldnt believe it was her, how could she push the queen vic bust of the bar is she that strong? and she was pregant!

Stacey is jut to unbelievable but Jack would have been a better ending. Jack had all the right motives plus he could simply put the blame away from himself and then this could lead to further episodes with Ronnie and the rest. It would have been a climax with a double climax with almost no end. Just exciting and a good storyline and believable.

I have to agree with David (comment 2) its ridiculous, not to mention traumatic for viewers, having Stacey as the murderer.
But im not certain she is, I think this is just another twist in the story, extra time for the producers to come up with something more viable...
When she told Max she 'did it' she would have been in total state of shock, she didnt mean that she literally killed Archie, but that it was her fault that they ended up in this situation...

So then WHO DID do IT?

I am so disappointed Bradley is dead. Poor Stacey. Why couldn't they have just moved away together and enjoyed theyre married life together. I really thought Ryan was going to be the killer. He had motive, he was sleeping with ronnie, has got stacey pregnant (?), jealous of janine and archie etc. So so disappointed, but i'm addicted to EE x

The cast and crew and production have undoubtedly put tireless work into the live epsiode and some people (who most likely have no idea what it takes to much such an episode together) can do nothing but pick faults.

I, for one, thought the live episode was a triumph and would like to congratulate everyone involved!

It was quite obvious it was Stacey all along. The clues were there right from the christmas day episode when Archie was killed (She saw Bradley leave the Vic and disappear and beign a woman curiosity would naturally lead her to go and wonder about giving that she had only just revealed that she was violated by Archie to Bradley. The only other person would have been Ronnie's mum, but i guess there would'nt have been much of a continuation storyline with her brief cameo, which made Stacey the only bet.
How did the bookies phantom to bring Stacey's brother Shawn into the plot? That was really poor speculation on those involved

I was shocked, surprised and dumbfounded when I heard Stacey confess. Out of all the people who could have done it! Isn't it bad enough that Stacey has bipolar and was raped by Archie? Would it not have been more believable if it was Ronnie, especially after being tormented by a monster of a father for the major part of her life? Wouldn't it have been justified that she vindicates herself for all the injustice done to her throughout the years?

As for Bradley, I was deeply saddened to see his departure from the square. We shall miss you Bradley.

I have been an avid fan of Eastenders from the very first episode and now that I have moved to live in Malta, am still a fan of one of the world'd greatest soaps. Who needs the Bold and the Beautiful, Neighbors or the like. I am very happy with my Eastenders especially as it portrays a true picture of what life in the East End is really like.

Bambi, Archie was not the one ot blame for Max getting bankrupt, it wasn't at all. I still truly want to know why would Max kill Archie. What would his motive be.

The Ian to Dot one seems most viable. As it was, their conversation on Friday when Dot turned to Ian and said that it wasn't too late to do the right thing was a bit weird and out of context.
The problem with it being Stacey as we can all sort of guess that Max does not go to the Police and tell them it was Stacey, instead he lets his dead son take the blame. I guess we're meant to believe Max does that a) out of guilt for the trouble he casused Stacey and Bradley previously when he broke the star crossed lovers up, and b) becasue it's what Bradley would have wanted.
Either way, we know that Stacey won't go to prison for it, as Lacey Turner is their best actress by far ( my thoughts and she tends to win the awards, I believe) and so I can't see the Ö÷²¥´óÐã wanting her to leave. I think that she is a fab' little actree, with acting skills way beyond her years.

Did anyone watch the after show? I did not like the way Larry Lamb reacted to the news that his character was meant to have abused his daughter. He said something grim like "shame I missed that,"- which I felt was very unsuitable. I know he meant to be silly, thinking he'd have liked a sex scene with the actress who plays Ronnie, but considering it was meant to have happended before the character was 14 and by the character's Father it was just totally inappropriate of Larry Lamb. That, for me, was the biggest mess up of the live thing. I bet the people in the gallery cringed and wished it wasn't live.

I think there is more to come. Don't forget about who had the ring and planted it at Janine's and changed her keys around. Who did that? Stacey? No, there's a Mitchell involved or maybe even Ryan, who had access to the keys. Think about it....

I agree with David that Stacey is a poor choice. It is said that she was "chosen" at the beginning of the storyline. However there were no clues, she appeared to remain in the Square on Christmas day and just a quick shot of her seeming to leave might have been in order. then a quiet time before there were hints in what she said or even in her looks at Bradley. There was none of this and not surprisingly Lacey Turner couldn't have known she was the killer so couldn't put any small hints herself. being so grief stricken in the end, her feelings for Bradley wouldn't have allowed her to remain silent. There should have been some times that we could all look back on with hindsight and think "of course" but there was nothing. Agatha Christie was good at delaying "whodunnit" by not introducing the killer or at least some clues until well into the book but there was not even an "Agatha" hint in this case. I'm sorry Ö÷²¥´óÐã but you have let down Lacey Turner, who is a fine actor and she doesn't deserve this "ending". I agree with David, if a way can be found to reverse this that PLEASE do it!

Alpharay you idiot if you look ta the intervwiews with Diederick, he even tells you that teh person who planted the ring was Peggy. Also it is obvious it was her. Watch the live episode again and watch Peggy's and Janine's scene and everything would make sense.

i still think it was sean. stacey knows this as well... she told him to do it, and thats what she meant by "it was me'... it wasnt actually her, but she told sean to do it. just wait and see - this will become more obvious when we see where stacey is....... in hiding with sean. duf duf dududududd duf.

Re; the Aftershow, Larry Lamb's response to the backstory his character had raped his young daughter (as well as Stacey) was indeed disturbing.

His actual words are "I didn't even get a chance to enjoy it."

Is he still 'in character' here, method acting out an Archie-esque one-liner? His real life son's response suggests otherwise.

While it is likely true that actors do 'enjoy' exploring the depths of human nature through their roles, this was majorly cringeworthy.
Bearing in mind a rape scene is NOT a 'sex scene', it is difficult to imagine that any actor would like the idea of imitating the simulated rape of a child, or joke about it live on television.

Dramatic fatal endings, revealing scream-fests, kissing John Partridge, yes... but not this.

I didn't think Stacey should have done, really. Because I think other people have a better motive...and she's kind of my favourite character. I like Phil's the best because of the way it is written, i like the way he kind of blames it on Peggy, if you know what I mean. But i'm not saying the live episode was bad, it was fantasic! Why did Bradley have to die??
