I have been a huge EastEnders fan for ages, but live in Holland. With the new website I can't see the videos anymore....why is that? Please Ö÷²¥´óÐã, why are we left in the cold?
I hope Syed and Christian will have a happy life after all, but I think it's not likely to happen...and I do feel sorry for Amira, she doesn't deserve her heart to be broken this way...

today's reveal episode is one of the best episodes ever written by the writers of this soap.

I haven't seen writing/scenes/acting(lol) like this from eastenders in a very long time. it was even better than the live episode with stacy saying she killed archie and bradley's ridiculous death.

I am one of the biggest watchers of gay storylines and I cannot applaud you writers enough for this reveal episode. hollyoaks eat your heart out.

INSIDER_NICKIE - i thought it was soap opera worthy stuff. i used to watch eastenders with a passion and then they killed dennis rickman and shipped off sharon and i began to loose interest quick when all these new comers (especially roxie and sometimes ronnie) came into the square acting like they've been there since i was born. urgh.
anyway this storyline has got tough competition with the likes of Hollyoaks' groundbreaking John Paul and Craig love story, Chis and Olii in the german soap "Verbotene Liebe" and Luke and Noah's love story form the american soap "As the world turns". all these gay love stories have a massive following especially Luke and Noah (me included :)) and they all have a big fan base. just like this one is trying to conjure up. I enjoyed today's episode. held my breath throughout the whole party scene except it did remind me of a certain soap reveal *cough* hollyoaks *cough*.
but i still enjoyed it none the less. :)

DWYNWEN69 - lol i didn't like this story to begin with. i thought john was putting too much into christian's character and john does have that small off putting way about him - not the "campness" per-say but his "swagga" is very uncomfortable.... i dunno. i prefer personalities like louie spence in "pineapple dance studios". louie spence has that special "camp" spark and i think john doesn't have it. same with john barrowman. their personalities are a little... forced. so i understand what you mean :) but you can't deny the writing was amazing. i love zanab and her battleaxe ways. i wouldn't want her as a mother though. it would have been interesting to see her like debbie, michael's mother in the "US queer as folk" :)

this was a very good story is ¨´syed´and christian gay for real??? if not i bet it took a lot for the kissing bit???????? lets hope they both get an award for this episode.

I absolutely loved the Syed/Christian/Amira behind-the-scenes special on Ö÷²¥´óÐã3 last night! Not only did it give a great insight into how such an intense story-line is crafted and filmed, we got some fascinating glimpses, some of them very funny, into the actors who have brought these wonderful characters to life and made them actually matter to so many people.

After the real angst of the reveal episode, where Johnny,Marc and Preeya gave such stunning and touching performances, it was a great antidote to the high emotion to see some of Johnny and Marc's antics off camera, at the photo-shoot etc. I'm sure they needed to break the tension with some fooling around. They are some comedy double act!

For their characters I know there are dark times ahead in the immediate future, but I loved Johnny's teasing "it ain't over yet" at the end of the Special! I should hope not either! On the other side of that titanic struggle I'm hoping Christian and Syed will make a (mainly) happy life together ON THE SQUARE! No taking a taxi ride off into the sunset, there is so much more dramatic mileage, serious and light-hearted, that could be harvested from the brilliant chemistry Johnny and Marc have concocted,on and off screen. This is a relationship that could add so much to Eastenders for some time to come...and the return of Amira and Syed Junior somewhere down the line would throw another dramatically-productive spanner in the works. :-D Really hope the producers are thinking along those lines!

When you have hit on some TV magic, as EE has in the shape of Johnny and Marc,it should be treasured and hung on to! Are you listening Diederick,darling???!!! ;-)

Altghough, i did feel sorry for Amira cause she didnt deserve any of this but if Syed would have just told her the truth from the beggining none of this would have happened. But it is a brilliant storyline!

I'm behind the times! Diederick Santer has moved on. My latest researches tell me that it's now Bryan Kirkwood as Exec Producer and it's he I should be sweet-talking! What do you reckon Nickie, should I drop him a line? Does he know how many of us out here are desperate for Christian and Syed to make a go of it together on the Square, the two of them against the world?! I think he should be told!!! ;-)

even if Syed gets killed off, Christian is still gay so how can he get together with Roxy? I reckon if Christian was straight he wouldn't fancy Roxy - she's not good looking. He'd be way too good looking for her - if he was straight he would be with stunning Ronnie.

I saw the Christian and Syed special - I hadn't watched EE for years until now so hadn't sen the arrival of Christian (or Syed). I hate the scene where Roxy says to Jane "finally swapped that frog of a husband of yours for a charming prince" That is so out of order, a disgusting thing to say! Wonder how she'd feel if someone reffered to her as a frog - she's hardly good looking, just has nice hair.

the story with syed and christian is beautiful, i think that the only thats wrong about whats happened is the fact the family wanted to protect their pathetic pride. Its unfortunate that amira got hurt but she got hurt because of the pain syed was going through with wanting to be something for his families sake.
