I am always very disappointed whenever my favourite soap episodes are being re-scheduled. I think that whenever that is about to happen, they should make sure that a special viewing is available on Ö÷²¥´óÐãiplayer during that same slot thus offering viewers a choice to either watch whatever else has been re-scheduled on the EE slot or watch EE away from Ö÷²¥´óÐã1, on Ö÷²¥´óÐã I player. As we all know the EE episodes were filmed like half a year before they are actually broadcast, so Ö÷²¥´óÐã doesn't have the excuse of not having an episode available or whatever...... I don't know anything about how this is technically possible but I am sure it can be made to happen if someone really put their mind to it and cared... :-(

by the way i'd LOVE to know the viewing figures for bbc3 & 4 !!!!
and don't forget this from a company that WE pay for and if you don't.....they take you to court and you could go to jail ....bahhh !!!!

If they'd come top of the group, they would've played Ghana in next round and then Uruguay, which was on, on Friday.
This is what i would've presumed.

i doubt there will be anything that will grab my interest on bbc 2 or three tonight so wht cant it simply be shown on another station????? i dont beleive the whole country is football nuts and tonight we have an animal prog in it's place not!! that i have anyhing against that its better than football and i do allot for animal welfare
i eagerly await enders returning to its set time on each evening though may start watching corrie more i think seems to be less affected by the cup etc.

Denise’s on screen husband, Lucas (Don Gilet), has become such a vile character, and now with this attack on audience-wide loved Denise, I hope that all viewers can separate fiction from real life and not take any reprisals against actor, Don Gilet. – I’ve wanted to throttle ‘Lucas’ a few times myself!
- Just one straw of hope that I am clinging on to, though perhaps it is unrealistic - I read in the episode synopsis for Monday (12/07/10) that it is Lucas that identifies Denise's body. Maybe in his unhinged state of mind he believes that it is her, but in 'reality' it is someone else’s cadaver, and Denise has managed to escape and is off somewhere else suffering from amnesia after her harrowing ordeal at Lucas's hands, and will reappear at a later date to be reunited with her family (after Lucas has been convicted of the murder(s), including poor Sugar's, his son Jason’s dog) to the joy and relief of everyone, The Square and audience alike! - But that is maybe too much to ask. -
Then again, if it is that actress, Diane Parish, has chosen to leave due to other commitments (family, career development), and won't be coming back, then I wish her well and thank her for her brilliant portrayal of 'Denise' over the past few years, and wish her all the best for the future!
On another tack I am sad to read that young actor, Charlie Jones, who has done a marvellous job in his role of Ben Mitchell, Phil's son, will be leaving EastEnders. I honestly can't see the Beebe’s logic in this, especially as it is rumoured that they already intend to bring the character back at a later date, but with a different actor.
Also talented actress, Melissa Suffield, is to similarly leave the series, though her onscreen character Lucy Beale is not to be chopped, and another actress is to take over Melissa's role.
Seemingly new EastEnders producer Bryan Kirkwood has swept in wielding the fresh broom, and the show has insisted: "It's common practice to recast actors employed as children to take on more challenging adult storylines."
Well, Mr Kirkwood, I am sure that there are a lot of viewers out there, who have been with EastEnders much longer than you have, who would certainly disagree with you on this in the cases of Melisa and Charlie, and I take this opportunity of thanking both of them for their marvellous work over the past years, and wish them all the best and great happiness for the future, in their career development and in their lives in general! [And many thanks to All at EastEnders for twenty-five years of great drama and entertainment!]

If you switch your tv on you can see people being murdered 24/7, so why Eastenders is changing its storyline is baffling.
If a loved one of mine was murdered, the last thing I would be worried about is a TV prog.
But I am enjoying the Lucas storyline, no doubt Libby will get her Columbo mac on and sort it out.
The next bad guy has a hard act to follow.

In the Netherlands we have several channels and for those who couldn't care less about soccer they have scheduled a British detective/police series on NL 1...for instance Dalziel & Pesco.
Of course I will watch the game to night...and hope we will win. But this will be the first game I will watch. Wouldn't have given up Eastenders for soccer...

You must be congratulated on the portrayal of the Eastenders' characters and the storyline, it's all so believable as opposed to other soaps on TV. Well done Ö÷²¥´óÐã
