syed and christian in it again next week- looks good, and u can tell theyre still in love, just look at christian, they really are good together, and should finally be happy! i so hope eastenders give them a happy ending, if not i will be gutted:(

Thank goodness, Chryed are finally back and by the sound of things it wil have been worth the torture of their absence. So happy they are becoming a proper couple, best Enders love story ever.

It's all out. Denise gets killed (most likely murdered by Lucas), Ronnie sets fire to the pub and kills up to 8 people, Ben goes to jail, Staceys baby gets stolen and just in time before she's killed in the Vic fire along with Liz, Adam, Minty, Libby and a couple of others who are leaving the show, oh yea, Peggy.

Let's hope The Powers That Be at EE realise how much dramatic mileage there is in Christian and Syed's passionate but problematic relationship, with the inevitable tensions as well as the joys of their being together. This storyline has so many people rivetted, they'd be crazy not to go with it for the long haul.
I'm just delirious at the prospect of more fabulous performances from Messrs Partridge and Elliott as their fascinating alter-egos. And let's face it - Johnny and Marc...could they be more gorgeous??!! I don't think so! ;-)

@doofdoof: Stacey can't be killed in the Vic fire, because when Lacey's exit was announced, didnt they say the door was left open for return?

Oh my god what a fantastically gripping episode with Lucas totally losing the plot with Denise. Cant wait to see what happens next. He has GOT to be found out soon. And who will be his next victim???

Was just thinking - it's a shame with all this drama Eastenders has 'lost' two of it's three best comedy actresses. Denise and Zainab were REALLY funny when they were in the lighter story-lines as well. Now it looks like Denise is dead and Zainab has become so angry and unlikable. It's nice to have the dramatic balance, but I miss the book-club days!!! Least Jane is still singing...for now!!

I'm getting so bored of the whole Chyred thing- the storyline has been going on forever and I'm surprised nobody is as bored of it as I am! I wish they would just get on with it and end the storyline whatever happens. Baby Lily is so cute! I don't like Becca at all, I hope Stacey gets annoyed with her and kicks her out- she doesn't belong with the Slater family! Lucas has slipped up big time by sending Chelsea and Libby that text from Denise's phone.
He killed Denise and then he dumped her body in the canel.
When they do a postmortom, they will be able to tell how long her body, was in the canel for and then that will confirm she didn't text Chelsea and Libby.
Hope Lucas gets found out soon before he kills again

Now then, I know many out there are thinking, poor Denise, I'm wondering, despite how it looks, that Denise is still alive and that it's no small coincidence that only Lucas identified the body. Not least I am thinking the body fished from the Canal is the girl that he picked up at R&R's, a week or so ago and we never did see what happened next. So, is Denise dead or a prisoner somewhere, traumatised but alive?

Lucas has got to get caught soon or are the police not like real police! Like the other comments the will surely do a post-mortem and see that she was strangled! Please send him to prison other wise idiots in the real world will think the can get away with murder.

The Syed story was well acted, really good how he came to his peace. Shame that he didn't stick with the therapy though as it can't happedn in just a few weeks. But, glad he is at peace.
