I think Sam's surprise will be that Archie is the father, thereby causing some inheritance issues into play. I wondered about having french manicures while in prison as well. Odd they don't offer manicures in the nick here in the states. And I hope Jane gives Ian and Miss Lucy a new way of life after all that family has put her through. I can't watch the show now that I am back home in the states, except years old episodes on public television late on Saturday and Sunday. Ö÷²¥´óÐã America used to have the week's episodes on Saturday mornings, but discontinued that many years ago and I got very addicted to EE when I lived in Scotland for a bit. Now I have gotten my husband addicted watching the years old episodes. We are now up to right before Kat and Alfie become and item and Janine and Barry are just starting to get ooh so cozy together. If the poor sap only knew what was to come from Janine. Love you EE!!!!

I know Jane deserves better, but it won't be the same with her being part of Ian's family. Plus, she couldn't leave Bobby & Peter; it was only Lucy an Ian that have ever messed her about. I hope the story line's well thought out for this one. (yn)
Becca. Well, she's not been around so long, so personally I don't care too much about her. I wouldn't be sad to see her go.
PEGGY! I found out earlier in the year that she was leaving, and I must say I was gutted. It'll be said to see her go. I know the Queen Vic to be Peggy's, and Peggy's only.
I'm happy that Janine's getting married. She's not always the heartless woman that everyone in the square, and she loves Ryan.
I think that Bianca also needs Rickey. They're lovely, and although Bianca isn't the nicest to him that she can be, they deserve each other. So I hope Sam's baby is Jack's, because it could be good for Ronnie too. She wants a kid, and if the baby is Jack's, she would probably get to look after it too.
I can't wait to watch 'Enders next week! :D

Oh dear. I'm here in the USA, in northern Pennsylvania and we get Eastenders on PBS on Sunday nights for an hour. Our story line is soooo far behind what is currently on in the UK. We are where Ian has no idea that the baby boy (Bobby) Laura had is really his baby, Pauline is stressed out about Martin (he is growing marijuana) , Dot has quit the laundromat once again, etc....I can't believe that there are such new story lines now with characters I've never seen...I've loved Eastenders since it first came on here in 1988...
anybody care to briefly tell me what happens to Pauline, Sonja or Kat and Alfie? These last 2 are favs of mine..such a good job on the show.

Oh pattilg, I hate to ruin the fun of the upcoming episodes!!! Kat and Alfie are coming back this fall or winter I think....and I love them together also. I am in NC and get to watch on PBS. So glad to know there is a kindred spirit here in the states!!!!

LOL...I too watched Minty and Heather snog and it was a rather strange sensation to feel great happiness for them both and gag on my pizza at the same time. I'm so happy that they are together but has anyone else ever considered Heather and Billy?

I'm not to keen on Becca..Especially as she was responsible for calling the police on Bradley..(i was smitten about him) i have nothing but hatred towards Becca now (getting angry thinkin gbout it lol)
However im dreading Stacey leaving she is one of my favourite characters..I named my baby Lacey after her! and then was delighted when she named her baby Lilly which is my other childs name!
I really hope Ryan finds out he is baby Lilly's father i think him and Stacey would make an excellent couple.

I hate Becca. She's the 1 responsible 4 poor Bradley's death. I hope the truth comes out soon & I want Becca 2 die. I wish Peggy didn't hav 2 leave, it won't b the same without her...

You know, I always say I want to be a Mitchell for the day, now Im not too sure to be honest. I'll probably end up raped by my own father, on drugs with a Mum like Peggy (awful thought), I think Beales are the way forward, even although Jane got shot at by her nearly step-son, Lucy aborted her kid that was going to give to Jane with her Dad & brother covering it up, and cheated on her exams. Beales seem a nice family.

I think Jack is the Father of Sam's baby because he is getting married to Ronnie and it would stir things up for the Mitchells again family fued. Once again a great week well done.

Archie is the Father as it says' in todays Soap magazine and what will happen in the fire is Ryan and Janine leave there wedding ring in the Vic after everyone leaves, Ryan goes in to get it and he hears a baby crying which is Stacey Slaters baby, he gets them both out of the fire and gets out. The reason the fire was started was becuase of Phil.

What's wrong with Carol? She treated Lewis so badly from date one, it's a surprise that he's persisted. And that sexist comment she made "all men are gits" when Bianca told her that Rickey was actually at the hospital with Sam.... just because Lewis hadn't turned up to see her.

And why is she being so horrible about Ricky these days - only the other week she thought Bianca was cheating on him. Ricky deserves better than Bianca. It's pathetic how she treats him.

Jane should run off with Ricky - they both have spouses they don't deserve. They both deserve better and are both reallynice so would be good together.

Minty and Heather - I hope this one works out good. I did actually consider Billy and Heather but I think Billy just doesn't fancy her. Just because two people seem sweet it is not enough, physical attraction counts too and quite honestly I don't think Billy and Heather would look good together. Plus, those of you saying that Minty and Heather's snog put you off your food etc are being mean and shallow.

I hope Amira comes back after the baby is born - perhaps she could be the Christmas day surprise? Maybe she will have twins - a boy and a girl. Didn't she want to call a boy Tom and a girl Masey?

On another note, if anyone said that Christian and Syed's snog put them off their food then they would be accused of being anti gay but people have said similar about Minty and Heather's snog (just because they are fat) and no one complains.
