I really really enjoyed the Christmas episode. The whole thing was just.... WHOAAAAAAA! I loved Stacey's exit on the plane. I nearly cried at Stacey, and poor Jean. Maybe she'll make a Stacey surprise. Who knows, maybe all of Walford will be vomiting with Jean's cooking. I AM NORMAL. COMPLETELY NORMAL. OF COURSE. Lacey was one of the best characters and a great actress.

It made me cry when i heard Bradley shouting off the rooftop, thinking Stacey was going to jump brought me to the edge of my chair :L I want someone to do everything Stacey went through to Janine so she will finally realise what a hard life Stacey has had! When Stacey left i cried but i hope Lacey will be back on the square one day in the future because she is such a great actress and the square will not be the same without her! :) xxx

that was the best Christmas storyline that EastEnders has ever done, they was a couple of times, when i was screaming at the tv. Did not want Stacey to leave tho. Well done to all the people at EastEnders that come up with this and Ronnie and Kats story line. Just need to watch that next week now.

dunno if lacey gets to read this but if you do congratulations on 6?yrs of fantstic acting n entertaining the nation have to say cried watching tonights episode sadly i suffer from bipolar myself and ur charicter has been an insperation at times. you will be sadly missed but then thats how u will know you really were great.

SERIOUSLY BAD EPISODE. So many errors in the script. For a start, there is no way Stacey would have been able to get on a flight from London City Airport that late on Christmas day. Stacey telling Ryan she didn't love him was ridiculous. Max telling Stacey he loved her even more so. Jean turning her back on Stacey (realising she's a murderer) before suddenly forgiving her was also unbelievable. There was no logical progression in the story arc of the ep - it was just a series of unrelated twists and turns before it all fell flat in the last 15 minutes. Such a disappointing end to a brilliant storyline that has had us gripped for the past 12 months.

brilliant christmas episode! I just love janine she is awesome. But i will miss stacey she has been played wonderfully for the last six years.

Great Christmas special but as you are all moaning about Stacy and Ryan not going together its because they don't want Ryan to leave EastEnders. Also the door will always be open for Stacy to return hence why they did't kill her or arrest her.

I enjoyed the episode...Can't believe that she didn't go with Ryan, but then she was only using him to annoy Janine and using the fact that Ryan was the father to get some action - I thought this was totally wrong considering she ruined yet another marriage (despite the fact that Janine can be a total cow!) but I can understand why Janine was so Angry (wouldn't you be if your husband was having an affair?)

Great Episode, but why show that she runs away? What is this showing to younger people? I think as TV has a massive influence over kids - I think Stacey should have faced the authorities as it was the right thing to do... and also more realistic!

But I will miss Stacey... It will be interesting what she will be like when she comes back!

Awful, badly written and unbelieveable...Lacey Turner is a great actress but think she is leaving at the right time if this is how the scripts are going to be!!

That was a really good episode its a pitty Ryan didn't go with her. I really thought Stacey would have jumped so she could join Bradley. I just watched this episode on i-player.
Must say, one of the most emotional episodes I've seen in a long time. I was gripped. From laughing at pat singing, to feeling angry about janine and then as soon as Ronnie ordered Stacey to run i burst into tears and cried 'til the end. Amazing, big well done to the producers!

Just watched Eastenders on catchup and feel totally miserable now..would it be too much for once for you to have a happy ending..although after years of watching I should know better than to expect any other..after watching since it started many years ago and being the only soap I watch I will no longer put myself through the misery..

The Christmas Day episode was amazing, full of tension and drama. A very surprising storyline might I add. Although far off expectations it was a very thrilling and enjoyable episode and will be forever remembered. Merry Christmas.

I thought the Christmas ep was fantastic. In my heart I just knew that Stacey would escape the square instead of being killed off or arrested but at times i still thought that may happen during the ep. My heart swelled when Ronnie told stacey to run. Love u Ronnie for that. Hope Janine dies. I love Stacey/Lacey, hope one day you come back to the square. Stacey/Lacey love you and thanks for 6 years of entertainmnet, you truly would be missed. You are my favourite character as well as Kat. Good luck with the future. LUV U LOTS.

WOW! Absolutely fantastic, throughout the episode I thought a) Stacey would get taken away for stabbing Janine; b) She'd hand herself in, didn't think she'd jump TBH, c) She'd leave Lily after worrying she'd be a bad mum, d) Ryan would stop her, e) Roxy would stop her or last but not least, what would happen in real life, the cops would put a call out to the airports, but SO glad she got away. I have been a fan of Stacey for 6 years, my FAVE character by far, excellent storylines and unbelievable performances. Don't know if Lacey gets any of the comments but she is a FANTASTIC actress, I haven't seen a performance like she gave during her bipolar storyline / recent storyline from many Hollywood actresses, she deserves every award she's ever won, and while I wish her all the best part of me wants to see her back in Walford sometime soon!

Nice way for Stacey to leave, loved Ronnie telling her just to go and leave the square with baby lily. When will Janinne get whats coming to her and someone actually find out that she stabbed herself. Pot calling kettle when telling stacey she let bradley take the blame for archies murder when she tried to kill ryan, not forgetting killing Ronnies daughter danielle and pushing husband barry of a cliff a few years ago. Wishing Lacey Turner all the best for the future, she truly is one of the soap icons.

I hated the ending how she didn't want Ryan he gave up everything for her she is the mother of his child is she really going to stay alone because of bradley shes going to go out with someone else one day how can she love Ryan then unlove him bradley's dead and Ryans the father he should of went with her I hate eastenders when they make such stuiped endings for characters.

I liked the episode but I also think it was stupid.
1. SHE DOES LOVE RYAN, you could blate tell so either the writer messed up or just made it stupid.
2. Ryan should of gone with her.
3. Stacey should of said WHY she done it.

I totally see where you're coming from. I mean Stacey should of got done atleast or atleast made the storyline a bit better.. because for example her and Ryan went through all that lovey dovey stuff and then all of a sudden she don't love him? I know it's just a storyline but really it was silly.
I think the ending should of happened like this,
Stacey starts packing her things, while Ryan gets baby Lily. Ryan then goes round to get the car. While Ryan's getting the car Max should of turned up and said something like, "he wishes her all the best" or whatever. As Ryan turns up, the police pull round take Stacey and Lily stays with baby Lily.
At least then Stacey could come back after doing her time and wouldn't have the guilt so much on her shoulders. Then could be with Ryan.
I believe everyone should have a happy ending as Eastenders have had too MUCH drama. I know that happens in real life but come on..
Anyway, since Stacey is gone for good I don't know how often I'll be watching it as she was a great actress and her and Ryan suited.
Well good luck Stacey, I hope one day you do decide to come back and writers make it worth while!

A few things have not made sense recently.
Roxy and Ronnie caring about Archie. Ronnie would of bought Stacey a drink.
Pat supporting Janine in the pub after visiting Ryan in hospital.
Police not searching Bianca`s house after she made it obvious something was hidden.
Stacey`s mother blanking Stacey.
Max saying he still loved Stacey, he has moved on.
Stacey being let on a plane, Police would of informed the airport she was wanted.
But I am glad Stacey was not killed off, hopefully we shall see her again in the future.

I have a real problem, not sure if the police in the UK are any good? As everyone seems to get away with almost everything!
Some good story lines but some very big mistakes as well.
As for Stacey well am sure we will see her in more well thought out programs.

I think the injury that Janine has from stabbing herself will stop her from having any babies in the future - making her even more bitter and twisted!!

Excellent episode, sorry to see Lacey go but am glad she wasn't killed off. Yes, I agree with some other people's comments that getting on a plane on Christmas day was a bit unrealistic, especially when LCA was closed Christmas day but then they did film this a while back.

Stacey, is a true LEGEND. She has been absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. I have loved her from the moment she started in Eastenders, she is such an amazing actress, she is a true natural, she is so convincing, and so talented, there aren't that many true actresses out there like her, she is one in a million. She will be deeply missed. She was my favourite character of all time in the whole of the Eastenders history. I LOVE YOU STACEY

Watched the christmas day episode and enjoyed it. Gillian Wright as usual delivered an excellent part, but what mede me laugh was Roxy the minute she found out Stacey killed her creep of a father she shouts to call the police, but when more importantly 3 million quid goes missing from her bank account no police involvment, we dont hear what has happened to the bank investigation into the theft. We know her brother stole it and his face would show up on the cctv on the cash-line machine,but so what we live in the real world, dont know what world the script writers are living on...

I was soooo disappointed that stacey rejected ryan, they were like made 4 eahother even though bradely died. i think that stacey actually loved ryan but she was confusedddd... But hopefully her and lily come back when lily is older, like Bianca and Ricky and they could be back togethr. I hatedd the fact that stacey said she didnt love ryan he gave up everything 4 her... :'( But I doubt stacey will come back as Lacey is an amazing actress she'll probs get lots of ddiferent opportunities.

What a load of old shi... well it wasn't that bad. Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner were great, but, what a crap ending. Max gives stacey about £500 to live on and she spends most of that on her flight with lily. And, as far as i know she knows no languages apart from english. And austrailia you have to prove you can do something there and in america you can get executed for things. Also, stacey climbing onto the vic roof so easily. "Ooh, a ginger boy fell to his death constable off a roof of a pub, we have decided to take lots of action and put a sign saying warning. That should do the trick." AND, janine stabbing herself and managing to deliver the same amount of words as a shakespear play and walk to the vic. I wish she had walked in front of a car...

Even though the storyline lasted over 1 year i never got bored of it!
Congrats to the cast who did a wonderful job, at making the episode so special, Brillant preformances from everyone who appear on the screen! Best wishes to Lacey as shes moving on from eastenders. I actually cried all through the episode , it was so emotional .
Stacey is a true legend forever , Lacey is a gorgeous girl and she was by far the best actress on Eastenders ... But i really hate Janine she is PURE evil and to be honest i also hope she dies in hospital because she deserves everything ... STACEY TO COME BACK!
